I'm mostly here to check this out. I don't know what DW is really about or what it does, but with Tumblr crashing and burning and the rise of purity politics and fandom gatekeeping/policing, I'm sending out feelers for new sites to move to.

It is not hard to search for blogs that interest you enough to read, using the search feature! There are lots of communities, though some of them are pretty quiet because DW is in general quiet due to most of fandom decamping to Tumblr.
